I have more first-hand experience than anyone else when it comes to working with Bob on a day-to-day basis, spanning close to twenty years! My career has been shaped by him, starting with being hired by him right after graduating from college, thru getting re-hired by him at two subsequent organizations. He has given me many opportunities to better my profession and increase my working knowledge. We have sat at the brainstorming table and developed processes, and workflows and executed projects many, many times over the years. He knows how to lead a team, and keep scope and focus, with the right balance of flexibility to execute projects successfully. Bob is well-known for his talent in business development. His foresight led us to build state-of-the-art e-Commerce and Data Management systems, that are still regarded as benchmark systems in the Aftermarket. He also spent considerable time studying plant operations and finding ways to increase productivity thru process revisions and computer system updates. But, I personally think his biggest accomplishment is the work he did for SEMA, establishing what has become the biggest data repository in the Aftermarket. He was there from square one, leading the entire development of the system, establishing all the database and hardware infrastructure and creating processes and procedures for members to use in standardizing their data, helping to increase sales for many hundreds of companies. Bob has a clear understanding of how to lead business organizations to success, proven with an impressive track record. If you are looking for advice on business strategy, Bob is the first person I would recommend.

Bob’s tenure at Covercraft was way too brief and we would have loved for him to stay longer. He truly has been one of the pioneers in eCommerce data delivery and was instrumental in putting Covercraft on a solid foundation in both our B2B and B2C platforms. I have known and worked with Bob Castle for over 15 years. in addition to his technical skills he is well-rounded and very knowledgeable about all aspects of manufacturing and service businesses. He is very strong in business-to-business and business-to-consumer internet sales. He built an internet business from scratch to reach sales of over $6 million annually in a short time when he worked for me at Global Accessories.
